Goals For FY 2008

October 1, 2007 – September 30, 2008

 

ESGR Mission is to Gain and Maintain Support from all public and private employers
for the men and women of the National Guard and Reserve.

 

Overall

 

·        Conduct one Civilian Employer Orientation Flight

·        Conduct one In-State CEO Flight

·        Publish Newsletters as needed

·        Conduct three quarterly Steering Committee meetings

·        Conduct one Annual Planning and Awards meeting

·        Make the Kansas ESGR website part of our routine

·        Conduct an Excellent Employer Awards Program

·        Promote the Statement of Support (SOS) Program

·        Timely Ombudsman Documentation and Action on Cases

·        Record of Volunteer Hours

·        Implement the National Training Modules into local training

·        Establish Military Liaison Program

·        Open lines of communication with Family Support Centers

 

 

Area Chairs

 

·        Recruit Adequate ESGR Volunteers to support the Area Operations

·        Attend Steering Committee and the Annual Meeting

·        Conduct three Briefings with the Boss within Area of Operation

·        Recommend Employers for ESGR Awards

·        Support the Statement of Support Program

·        Nominate Five Employers for Bosslift

·        Conduct at least one Area Meeting for ESGR Volunteers/Employers Training

·        Report Quarterly Activities to State Chair and Executive Director

·        Record Volunteer Hours to Assistant PPS

 

Employer Outreach Volunteers

 

·        Contact Five Employers per Month for SOS Signings

·        Recommend Outstanding Employers for Awards

·        Attend Annual Planning and Awards Conference

·        Record Volunteer Hours

·        Assist with Bosslift Program

·        Report Monthly Activity to Employer Outreach Coordinator

·        Attend Area Meetings

 

Military Unit Representative

 

·        Visit Assigned Units Quarterly

·        Assist Unit Commander in Annual Briefing

·        Assist Soldiers in Nominating Outstanding Employers

·        Record Volunteer Hours

·        Attend Annual Meeting and Awards Conference

·        Attend Area Meetings
